Sarah Huckabee Sanders has reappointed car dealer and onetime Little Rock mayoral candidate Steve Landers to the Arkansas Racing Commission. Landers' term expires on Jan. 14, 2028. He was previously appointed to the commission in 2016 by former Gov. Asa Hutchinson. Sanders also announced the following appointments: Mike Akin, of Monticello, to the Arkansas State Police Commission. Term expires on Jan.
